David Oldnall has been practicing as a registered massage therapist since 1993. His career choice is the result of positive effects achieved through massage therapy after being personally involved in a serious car accident. He has studied human kinetics at the University of Windsor, and massage therapy at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. He has formal training and certification in reflexology, accupuncture, myofacial stretching, Gait Scan Analysis and the application of low intensity laser therapy. Early in his career, David gained international experience traveling with Canadian athletes as an approved practitioner working with the National Sport Centre. He has the privilege of working with a variety of clients using treatment modalities that most benefit the patient and their individual needs.
David’s experience in laser therapy began in a hospital environment over a decade ago treating catastrophically injured patients with extremely positive outcomes. He joined the Lightspeed team in 2009 as an R.M.T. and physio assistant applying laser treatments to the Clinic’s patients. David and the team pride themselves on ensuring that the patients of Lightspeed receive the care they need to get better, faster. As the clinic has grown, David’s responsibilities in patient care and Clinic administration have as well.
