We are looking for a Physiotherapy Assistants who are committed to join our dynamic team. Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) is a health care worker who works under the supervision of a licensed physiotherapist to provide patient treatment, education and supervision of therapies and exercises. Candidates will be expected to:
– Schedule and confirm appointments
– Onboard new patients; Discharge those who’ve completed treatments
– Process patient payments and insurance paperwork
– Learn about LILT and it’s application through training, coaching and clinician oversight
– Apply and monitor patient treatment protocols
– Demonstrate and assist patients with strengthening and flexibility exercises to support their treatments
– Instruct, motivate, and assist clients to improve their health
– Perform Gait Scan assessments if required (training will be provided)
– Educate patients on treatment protocols, services offered, ways to optimize their treatment
– Update patient records under supervision of physiotherapist
– General clinic upkeep and maintenance including: supplies management, light cleaning and maintenance of clinic and treatment areas/machines
– General clinic administration
– Participate in marketing campaigns
